Returns and Shipping

From the date you receive your order, you have a 2-day window to contact our customer service team to initiate a return for an exchange or store credit.

NO RETURNS ON BFCM SALE ITEMS - FINAL SALE

Items listed on the Break. Archive website are sold by private sellers on a consignment basis. As such, Break. Archive does not accept returns for refunds on any purchased items. This policy aligns with the consumer-to-consumer sales framework commonly adopted by other reseller platforms within the UK.

Due to the pre-loved nature of our products, some pieces may exhibit signs of wear. We strongly encourage you to thoroughly review the description and photographs before making a purchase. We guarantee the authenticity of all items sold through Break. Archive. Should any item be proven inauthentic, the buyer is entitled to a full refund.

Please note that all customers are responsible for return shipment costs. Our team will provide you with a shipping label. If you choose to arrange your own shipping, you will be responsible for the shipment in case of loss or damage. International clients must ensure the customs declaration is filled in as a return.

If you wish to cancel your order, you will receive store credit rather than a cash refund.

Please be aware that returns are not accepted for in-store showroom or pop-up store purchases, all sales are final.

IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN YOUR PURCHASE PRICE. THESE WILL BE BILLED SEPERATELY BY DHL. PLEASE NOTE, IF IMPORT DUTIES ARE NOT PAID YOUR ORDER WILL BE RETURNED TO US. DUE TO AN UPDATE IN DHL POLICY, THE TAX WILL STILL BE CHARGED TO OUR ACCOUNT + A RETURN SHIPPING FEE + £50 ADMIN FEE. THESE FEES WILL BE BILLED BACK TO THE CLIENT / TAKEN OFF STORE CREDIT AND ONLY REFUNDED IF DHL REFUND THESE FEES BACK TO BREAK. ARCHIVE WHICH IS NOT GUARANTEED.

We guarantee the authenticity of all products sold. Each item is carefully authenticated by our in-house experts. In the odd occasion that an item turns out to not be authentic the buyer is eligible for a full refund even after the 14 day returns period.

Condition Guide

Products sold by Break. Archive are pre-owned unless stated otherwise, our pieces have had a previous life so may tell their story through minor signs of wear. This is our guide to knowing what to expect when your item arrives. Buying pre-loved is supporting slow fashion and giving items a second life. We advise that you carefully review all photos and description before purchasing an item.

EXCELLENT

Items described as excellent have been stored well by their previous owners, they have retained their shape, have some of their original packaging and are showing little to no signs of wear.

VERY GOOD

Items described as very good have been used by their previous owner and are showing light signs of wear. Areas of wear tend be on the straps, corners and inside. Any visible damage will be mentioned in the description.

GOOD

Items described as good have some visible signs of wear to the material which will be reflected in the price. This may include discolouration, hardware scratches, fading.

FAIR

Items described as fair have been loved a little bit more and are showing wear, but they are still fit for purpose and look fantastic.
